How to trade index baskets
on Robinhood Chain.

Robinhood Chain lists Stock Tokens for individual companies and ETFs, and they trade around the clock. bskts bundles them, with crypto, into index baskets: one token for a whole theme, bought and sold at net asset value in a single step. This guide covers what a basket is, how it is priced, what it costs, and how to buy your first one.

What is Robinhood Chain?

Robinhood Chain is an Arbitrum Orbit layer-2 blockchain (chain id 4663) where Robinhood's Stock Tokens and crypto trade in on-chain pools around the clock.

Its Stock Tokens carry total-return accrual (ERC-8056), so dividends flow into the token’s value rather than being paid out separately. Dollars on the chain are USDG, the stablecoin every basket is bought and sold against.

What is a basket?

A basket is a single token that holds a fixed quantity of several Stock Tokens and crypto assets in an on-chain vault. One unit is a proportional claim on everything the vault holds. Hold one unit of MAG6 and you hold a fixed amount of six mega-cap tech stocks, not a slice that is quietly re-weighted underneath you. Weights drift as prices move, and scheduled rebalances (monthly or quarterly, per basket) bring them back to target.

bskts is non-custodial. Your baskets sit in your own bskts account, a Safe smart account that only your login wallet controls, and you can withdraw everything at any time, with or without bskts.

The baskets you can trade

  • DIGI64 · Digital 60/40The balanced portfolio, rebuilt — broad equity beta plus digital assets. Holds S&P 500 ETF, Ether.
  • MAG6 · Mega-cap TechThe anchor. Six mega-caps, equally weighted. Holds NVIDIA, Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet, Meta, Tesla.
  • INDEX2 · Broad BetaThe whole US market in one click. Holds S&P 500 ETF, Nasdaq 100 ETF.
  • FRONTIER · Moonshot GrowthSpaceX, Tesla, NVIDIA — three of the market's biggest growth stories, equal-weighted in one position. Holds SpaceX, Tesla, NVIDIA.
  • CRYPTOEQ · Crypto ComplexCrypto from both sides — the equities and the asset itself. Holds Coinbase, Strategy, Circle, Ether.
  • OPUS · AI CoreThe frontier: the accelerators that train the largest models, and the two companies shipping their own frontier systems at scale. Conviction-weighted by compute intensity, not equally weighted like a mega-cap index. Holds NVIDIA, Microsoft, Alphabet.
  • FABLE · AI CapexAI capex — the physical build-out beneath the models: memory, fabs, logic and storage. Deliberately holds no NVDA; this is the tier that supplies it. Holds Micron, TSMC, AMD, Intel, SanDisk.
  • ORBIT · BTC, Space & NasdaqOne of each: bitcoin, SpaceX, and the Nasdaq-100 — three asset classes that normally take three different accounts. Holds Coinbase Wrapped BTC, SpaceX, Nasdaq 100 ETF.
  • MAXBETA · High-Volatility FourThe four names on the chain that move most, held flat — no conviction tilt, just the highest-beta exposure the chain offers in one position. Holds Tesla, Strategy, Coinbase, SpaceX.
  • SILICON · Chipmaker TrioLeading-edge compute end to end — the two designers drawing the fastest chips, and the foundry that actually makes them. Holds NVIDIA, AMD, TSMC.
  • ETHSTACK · Ethereum EconomyThe asset, and the two listed businesses standing closest to it — half in ether itself, half in the exchange and the issuer built on top. Holds Ether, Coinbase, Circle.
  • NATIVE · Chain NativesThe chain’s own tokens alongside the two majors — the crypto side of Robinhood Chain, not the equities. Two of these have no published feed; they are priced from their own pools. Holds Pons, UP, Ether, Coinbase Wrapped BTC.
  • HARD · Hard AssetsThings nobody can print more of. Gold is the anchor at half, bitcoin a quarter, silver and crude oil the rest — scarce real assets in one position, monthly rebalanced. Holds Gold ETF, Coinbase Wrapped BTC, Silver ETF, Oil Fund.
  • BEDROCK · All WeatherBuilt for any weather. US stocks for growth, T-bills for yield and a floor, gold for when both go wrong — three sleeves in near-equal thirds, monthly rebalanced. Holds S&P 500 ETF, 0-3 Month T-Bill ETF, Gold ETF.
  • TURBO · Leveraged TechMaximum-octane tech in one position: three-times-leveraged NVIDIA, the bitcoin treasury company, and SpaceX. Built to move far more than the market, in both directions. Holds NVIDIA 3x Long, Strategy, SpaceX.
  • WAFER · Chip IncomeThe chipmakers, earning while you hold them. Each leg is a managed liquidity position on the stock against USDG that collects trading fees and compounds them — about half the chip exposure, plus the fees. Holds AMD/USDG liquidity, Micron/USDG liquidity, Intel/USDG liquidity, NVIDIA/USDG liquidity, SanDisk/USDG liquidity.
  • COMET · Frontier IncomeSpaceX, Circle, Tesla and Coinbase, earning while you hold them. Each leg is a managed liquidity position that collects trading fees and compounds them — about half the frontier exposure, plus the fees. Holds SpaceX/USDG liquidity, Circle/USDG liquidity, Tesla/USDG liquidity, Coinbase/ETH liquidity.

BSKTS holds the whole founding shelf in one token: a basket of baskets.

How a basket is priced

At net asset value: the value of what one unit owns. Every price comes from the asset's own Uniswap pools on Robinhood Chain, never from an external feed. Net asset value per unit is the value of everything the vault holds divided by the number of units. If an asset’s two price venues disagree, or a pool is empty, the price read fails, so a basket can never be bought against a bad price.

Buying and redeeming are proportional and in kind, so no deposit or withdrawal of any size can move the price for anyone else. Each market page shows the live NAV, a chart, every constituent’s weight against its target, and every trade on-chain.

How to buy your first basket

  1. Log in with email, Google, X, GitHub, a passkey or an existing wallet. If you don’t bring a wallet, one is made for you.
  2. Create your account with one signature. It deploys your bskts account and sets up instant trading in this browser. bskts pays the gas.
  3. Add funds: USDG on Robinhood Chain, USDC from Base, Arbitrum, Optimism or Ethereum (bridged in for you), or a card.
  4. Buy a basket from its market page or the swap. It fills in seconds, with no wallet popup. The minimum is $5.

Prefer your own wallet? You can trade straight from a wallet connected to Robinhood Chain. You then sign each transaction and pay its gas in ETH yourself.

What it costs

  • 0.20% when you buy, and 0.20% when you sell to USDG. Redeeming in kind has no bskts fee.
  • A management fee of 0.50%–0.95% a year, depending on the basket, streamed over time.
  • A small network fee in USDG on account trades: the trade’s own gas, shown before you confirm.

The full table, including order and withdrawal fees, is in the docs.

Beyond buying and holding

Limit, exit and recurring orders run on-chain under price floors you set. Perps let you go long or short a basket (how basket perps work). Weekend Cover protects a basket you hold against a weekend drop (how cover works). Yield baskets earn trading fees on the stocks they hold (how yield baskets work). AI agents can trade for you with a limited key of their own (agents).
